Celtics Advance to NBA Finals After Dramatic Comeback Win

Overcoming an 18-Point Deficit

Derrick White's Clutch Three-Pointer Seals Victory

The Boston Celtics overcame an 18-point deficit to stun the Indiana Pacers and advance to the NBA Finals. The Celtics' victory marked their third consecutive Eastern Conference title and their 23rd NBA Finals appearance in franchise history.

The Pacers had given the Celtics a tough series, pushing them to the limit in each of the first three games. However, in Game 4, the Celtics showed their resilience and determination. Despite trailing by as many as 18 points in the first half, they fought back to take a narrow lead heading into the fourth quarter.

In the final period, the game remained close until Derrick White hit a tiebreaking three-pointer with 43 seconds left. The Pacers had a chance to tie it up, but Tyrese Haliburton's three-point attempt bounced off the rim. Robert Williams III then sealed the win with a dunk, giving the Celtics a 104-101 victory.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. Jaylen Brown added 23 points, while Al Horford contributed 18 points and 14 rebounds.

For the Pacers, Haliburton scored a team-high 26 points. Buddy Hield added 22 points, and Jalen Smith had 14 points.

The Celtics will now face the Western Conference champion Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals. The series is set to begin on June 1st.

The Celtics' victory in Game 4 was a testament to their character and resilience. They never gave up, even when things looked bleak. Their determination and perseverance ultimately carried them to victory and a berth in the NBA Finals.
